Object M47
Info M47 is a scattered open cluster situated in the constellation of Puppis. It is the apparent same size as the full moon and contains around 30 stars, the brightest being of mag. 5.7.  M47 lies 1600 L.y. away and is less than 1/3rd the distance to its richer neighbour, M46. Not all stars are in this FOV

Notes/ Conditions Conditions on the 8th when taking luminance was very windy. Seeing degraded into the night. On the 9th, high cloud dominated the day and into the early evening. Things cleared a little when I recorded the rgb channels but seeing was still poor.
