| Object | NGC 104- 47 Tucanae |
| Info | 47 Tucanae is a large and brilliant globular cluster the size of the full moon. It can be seen by the naked eye as a fuzzy 4th- mag. blob close to the Small Megellanic cloud. On earlier star charts, it was catalogued as a star, hence its star's designation. It is second only to Omega Centauri in size and brightness. It is among the closest globulars to us @ 15,000 light years away. |

| Notes/ Conditions | Reasonable weather conditions. Seeing average. Transparency poor- average. This object was rather low @ 32 degs when I started the lum exposures. Certainly will redo this object when it's better situated in the coming months. Had gradients to remove. Image reduced to 85% of original. |
