Notes/ Conditions

This morning had very poor conditions. Smoke from recent bushfires in South Australia and in the state of Victoria was pushed into my far west coast area by strong south easterly winds. Auto guiding at F9 with luminance was proving to be a chore with the auto guider chasing the seeing. I GEM flipped and decided to do some Ha, however I lost my guide star so for an experiment decided to see how many unguided images I could keep. I took 5, 5min exposures, 1 of which I threw out.  On the 30th when taking the RGB's the conditions were once again very poor. Wind gusts were severe coming from the sth east exactly where I had the dome open to.
