NGC 5128 ,is also known as the radio source Centaurus A. Located in the constellation Centaurus. It is a very old giant elliptical galaxy with dark dust rings left over from an apparent encounter with a spiral galaxy. It is aprox 15 million l.y. away and is at 7th mag. |

Conditions- Taking the lum conditions started out poor to average. Heavy dew came in and seeing began to deteriorate. RGB's conditions were fair. |
