NGC 253 is a stately 7th
magnitude spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Sculpter. AKA The
Silver Coin galaxy. Having a barred spiral structure, Ngc253 is surmised
to be much like our own galaxy, The Milky Way in size also. It's estimated
distance is around 9 million L.y. |

Notes/ Conditions |
Conditions- It has been rather a poor winter/ spring.
Taking the lum, conditions were on both occasions poor to very average.
Also, the same is the case for the colour. Still it was good to be able to
get out! |
